Welcome to JB’s Rattles our motto is “Nothing Beats a Smile with a Reptile” . We started this company back in 2003 and have enjoyed performing programs in both Virginia and North Carolina for the past 20 years and with over 50 years of experience working with these beautiful creatures it will be an amazing experience for everyone. We have over 70 different reptiles and insects in our collection so you can personalize the program to fit what your looking for.

One thing we know is kids have a fascination with animals even the ones with scales, I used to be one of those kids. Being able to touch and hold these creatures adds excitement to the program. The birthday child gets to do it all and when they are presented with an Reptile Achievement Award along with your Photos will only enhance the experience.

Birthdays, Schools, Libraries, Day Cares, Boy/Girl Scouts, Camp sites. Fundraisers and Envenomation Seminars, EMT Training or any other occasion for anyone who enjoys learning about wildlife.

Meet some of our friends

I have been fascinated in wildlife since I can remember and I have always had a passion for reptiles and insects. I have worked and collected these animals for 55 years and have learned so much it has put things in a whole new perspective for me. I remember my first reptile show, I was in 2nd grade and can still remember as if it were yesterday. I was so captivated and I hope I can give you that same experience. What started out as a hobby has turned out to be a full time career for the past 19 years. Who would have guessed that same 2nd grader would one day be presenting and teaching shows of his own. Not many people can say “I do what I love and love what I do.” In my opinion, I think these are some of the most beautiful and misunderstood animals that inhabit our planet.

No matter your age or gender one thing I believe in are smiles and having a great time, and not only being our customers but becoming our friends.
